The Standard Center transforms an underutilized subterranean pass-through into a high-performance fitness amenity designed to energize and motivate daily movement. I partnered with the project team to develop an environmental graphics system that brings a cohesive visual language into every corridor and studio, reshaping the experience from arrival through exit.

Inspired by elite collegiate training environments, the design draws on the connection between branding, motivation, and performance. Layered graphics, movement-driven linework, and material-aware applications create a sense of momentum throughout the space, while quieter zones like the yoga studio soften into calmer tones that support focus and recovery. In the cycling studio, lighting and large-scale graphic moments work together to heighten intensity and immersion, turning the space into a fully considered training environment.
