Hello and welcome, here’s where I tell you a little about myself! I’m a graphic designer based in Portland, Oregon, with a career built over the past decade and a half around doing work I love. I came to design by bringing together two seemingly conflicting passions: creativity and structure.
That foundation took shape at Portland State University, where I earned my Bachelor’s in Graphic Design and Book Publishing. I immersed myself in both coursework and community involvement, taking part in Be Honest and Fresh Produce, joining Friends of Graphic Design, and working on projects supporting Portland’s small business community. Alongside my studies, I also worked in two print departments, completed an internship at Curiosity Group, and contributed to PSU’s Ooligan Press.
After graduating, I brought my enthusiasm for information, strong organizational instincts, and a keen eye for detail to the Think Joule team. There, over the past 15 years, I’ve grown from Design Intern to Senior Designer, steadily expanding my capabilities and responsibilities along the way.
With Think Joule coming to a close and our Creative Director retiring after a long and well-earned run, I’m ready for the next chapter, and looking forward to joining a new agency and team where I can keep building on the work I love doing.
