For Scouter’s Mountain, an apartment community in Happy Valley, I drew on rustic lodges and summer camps to give the property a personality rooted in its proximity to nature. As lead designer, I developed an identity that balanced outdoor adventure with the warmth of coming home. Scout, the brand’s fox mascot, gave us a familiar character to carry that personality through the work.

I extended the identity across the website, print materials, signage, and environmental graphics, adapting the same ideas to very different scales. Custom wallpaper and canoe-inspired clubhouse details made the camp references part of the space itself. I carried Scout into smaller applications, including social graphics and promotional items, to keep the personality recognizable. Those details gave prospective residents a friendly introduction to a community built around getting outdoors.
